1. Please do not use foul language or discuss topics that others may find offensive. This includes discussion of religion & politics, even if used in a joking manner.

2. Please do not use the name of a hospital, clinic, physician, or any other care provider if you are unhappy with your treatment by them. Use a generic term such as "hospital" or "doctor". If you are pleased with their services/treatment, feel free to sing their praises so that others may perhaps benefit from them as well.

3. This forum is intended to be a safe place for our members to discuss their Hughes/APS. Please do not express judgement on anyone for their opinions or decisions about their care. Please try to adhere to all rules as to allow members to feel safe that they can post about their experiences.

4. Please title each post with an appropriate subject that reflects the subject matter contained within.

5. If you take issue with any posts made by members, please do not reply to that post or contact its author. Please bring it to the attention of the moderators so that it may be handled privately.

6. Keep in mind that we are all here to simply discuss our experiences with Hughes/APS. We are not here to give out medical advice to others. Different treatments from your own will likely be discussed. Please remember to contact your medical provider to discuss any treatment options before undertaking them yourself.

7. Alternative/Holistic therapies are welcomed to be discussed. However, since many of them are not proven by the medical community to be effective, please do not try to unnecessarily raise hopes regarding them.

8. Feel free to upload your stories or photos. Please try to limit the size of photos by using thumbnails or link to an off site photo gallery to save space.

9. No chain letters, spam, or advertising within the forum.
